This is a review of the Target Exclusive Bad 25- The Short Films DVD that comes packaged with the two-disc Bad 25 set.
These are the short films that are included:
1. Bad- This is the short version of the video that starts with MJ
punching his fist in the air, and ends with him saying "Who's Bad".
2. The Way You Make Me Feel- This is the long version with all of the
dialogue at the beginning.
3. Man In The Mirror- standard version.
4. Dirty Diana- standard version.
5. Smooth Criminal- This is the short "strobe light" version of the
video- NOT the "Moonwalker" version.
6. Another Part of Me- This is the live concert version.
7. Speed Demon- From "Moonwalker"- starts with MJ emerging from the
smoke and ends with the rabbit's head coming out of the rocks.
8. Leave Me Alone- From "Moonwalker"- standard version.
9. Liberian Girl- standard version with all of the celebrity cameos.
With the exception of the strobe light version of "Smooth Criminal", all of these videos are already available on the Vision DVD. The strobe light version of "Smooth Criminal" is already available on the Number Ones DVD. It's worth noting that these videos are in the standard 4:3 screen format, which is the way they were originally
released. They have not been edited for 16:9 widescreen, which is the format of the Vision DVD set. With that in mind, this is the first time that the live concert video of "Another Part Of Me" has been released on DVD in its original format.
The sound and video quality is comparable to that of the Vision DVD set. There are no subtitles or bonus features. The packaging is minimal- it comes in a cardboard sleeve glued to the Bad 25 cd case.
